# Expert Tips:

01 -
  • The maple cinnamon glaze creates these irresistible crispy edges while keeping the inside perfectly tender
  • They come together in under 45 minutes but taste like something that simmered all day
  • The toasted pecans add this incredible crunch that makes every bite interesting
02 -
  • Cutting the potatoes into uniform 1 inch cubes is essential or some pieces will burn while others stay hard
  • Do not crowd the baking sheet or the potatoes will steam instead of roast and you will miss that crispy texture
  • The glaze can burn quickly so keep an eye on them during the last few minutes of roasting
03 -
  • Buy the freshest sweet potatoes you can find as older ones can be woody and less sweet
  • Real maple syrup is worth the investment here pancake syrup will not give you the same depth of flavor
